I would not recommend it.|By greg mcmahan|I do not care for this book. It covers material so briefly, I felt I did understand much after reading. For example, it has 4 and 1/2 pages on MCMC. Why bother? MCMC is a complicated subject. 4.5 is simply not enough page space to cover the subject well.
